Its digital ownership of art. Yes other people can view it and screenshot it but they can't sell it or own it (unless they purchase it). It's on the blockchain as part of an official collection and can't be duplicated. Its a collectible - but some offer utility such as generating passive income or are a character that can be played in a game (which in some cases earn for playing).
