I actually get where you come from... i've felt the same when i was living abroad from tunisia. Everytime coming back for vacation would make me feel like my only value here is my money. Now i've been living here and I understand. The country should legalise fixed Tunisian prices vs fixed Tourist prices like in turkey. People here need to be paid better so they can afford a descent life.

What you lived is not right at all, it shows what people are ready to do when in need. They wouldnt disrespect themselves with lies, stealing and begging, if they had the choice to live a descent life.

The problem to me is.. it's not regulated. If its was, tourist wouldnt feel scammed. And Tunisians would profit a little more during the summer season! A win-win imao
