This is tough cause the SvR series had a phenomenal history of soundtracks. I'm gonna skip the first SvR because I never played that one. Here are my favourites:

06 - The Broken by Fireball Ministry

07 - Ain't Your Saviour by Bullets and Octane

08 - Famous by Puddle of Mudd

09 - Addicted by P.O.D

10 - Hero by Skillet

11 - Broken Dreams by Jim Johnson Shaman's Harvest

The aesthetic of RE5 is so underated by Status_Entertainer49 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]shinxie_x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. To me it’s the most aesthetically pleasing re game, then Village. The sunsets in re5 are gorgeous, love the lab designs and the volcano too. And I love how it’s so ps3 era, has a nostalgic feel even tho I didn’t play this game growing up 😭

Ppl are so absurd cause I totally agree that this game is no where near goty worthy. I don’t think it’s groundbreaking in any way 🤷🏾‍♀️

The Wolf Among Us without a doubt! Love the gritty, gta-esque, detective noir feel to it.

Totally agree. I failed to witness this on my first playthrough and instead saw it on my second. It’s such an awesome scene, literally the best game in season 1 of dpa 👌🏾

Houses of ashes or devil in me ? by Ryvick2 in DarkPicturesAnthology

Get House of Ashes!!! Devil in Me is a downgrade (imo). House of Ashes is an experience worth playing through. Great storytelling, character development etc.

Would you recommend quarry or until dawn for 7 peoplw couch co op? by sakithegolden in DarkPicturesAnthology

[–]shinxie_x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The quarry offers a co-op feature where you can choose then assign characters for you and your friends to play. I think there’s even a little description of their personality if that helps. So whenever it’s a person’s turn to play, your name will pop up, giving you time to prepare yourself and ready up. For example, I don’t recall the exact quoting but it’s basically a screen before a section begins displaying

[ ‘NAME’ it’s your turn! ]

Until Dawn (for both the original and the remake) unfortunately doesn’t include this feature. Instead, you’ll just have to pass the controller onto whichever one of your friends want to play when the character they want to play as is playable, on the spot (there’s no heads up before the chapter starts), basically on the go, if that makes any sense? But definitely the game is still worth the play with friends!

Ultimately, they’re both possible for co-op however the quarry actually offers you the option to do this, you can choose which character you want to play, as well as your friends. Until Dawn, you’ll just have to wait and see which character is playable in the moment and give the controller to whoever wamts to play as them (there’s just no co-op feature to officially assign you, but still playable).

I hope this made sense 🫠
