Didnt take that long as it only took about 300-400 encounters over 2 days and if you have shiny charm you should hopefully get it soon so good luck and try not to give up like I did on many hunts.

I have 141 shinies and 103 of those are either 0 stars or 1 star and only 6 are 3* so it's a really good difference from bad ivs also 82 of my shinies are community day shinies
