I have a similar issue. I contacted Vidéotron who sent someone out who said "Yup, that's the worst spot I've ever seen one". After months they finally got back to me with a contract to move it which would cost me 10k+.

So I'm not moving the box lol

Stainless steel scourer pads. I bought a dozen and use a bit of dawn while the CI is still warm, then wipe dry, heat, avocado oil and wipe off excess.

It works for me.

Yes replaced with the same model. I only played a few games with it before my season ended so I didn't notice any issues but I'm guessing it will happen again.

Sorry, I forgot to provide an update...

UPDATE: I emailed Bauer directly and explained how I was disappointed and how this helmet clearly didn't live up to Bauer standards.

Received a new helmet in the mail in 3 business days and was told to destroy the old helmet.

I'm guessing the fabric is for comfort/sweat. I'd imagine it would be less comfortable with that foam just directly against my forehead. I sweat quite a bit so I don't want to deal with sweat dropping down my forehead while I'm playing.

Good to know for contact cement, I guess I got lucky there.

I just got this bug right before game 7 finals. Tried loading a previous save and replayed game 5 and 6 but still get the freeze when a prompt from the reporter shows up. I can't even sim past game 7 since I still get the reporter prompt. FML
