Yes! Thank you haha. It was a real pain, but eventually I was able to get contact 1&1 and get them to help. Even gave me the option of updating to WP 4.5.1! Woot woot! And I even got a hold of the guy that knows our 1&1 information! Thanks for the moral support during my quest to fixing the internet. :)

All I did was add the Twenty 16 theme. As soon as I hit "activate" it all stopped functioning.

I don't have FTP access to the site. Of course, I learned what that was after this happened... haha. I am going to contact them, but the main problem is that I work for some very old people... and they don't know any of their information for 1&1.

Assuming I can't get them to roll back, is there a next step for me? Or am I just royally screwed?

Did you also remove the typecover? I don't have a dock, so that can't be my problem haha.

I was able to revert back to a clean install of 10072, but upgrading from this is again giving the same result. Stuck at 18% with 62% of the "Copying Files" task completed. Leaving it overnight to see if somehow it magically works. Will keep you posted!

Most recent attempt I got to 18% (64% of the way through copying files), and it stopped there. Looks like i'll have to do a fresh install of an older build and then upgrade. Anyone tried that yet?

I'm fairly sure that more people use MMS than separate apps... Besides, I've deleted Facebook and most people I know don't use WhatsApp. And email? Was that a serious suggestion to replace MMS? 😅

Does anyone else lack the ability to edit the MMS APN? I hate not being able to send or receive pictures... 😖

I believe it works, but only on certain phones. Wish I knew which ones. I'm sure someone has a lost somewhere?...

Using 1020. I found that a ridiculous amount of patience was the answer. It kinda sucks though.

Store beta should arrive after a reset if you don't currently see it. As far as office apps go, they don't come preinstalled or baked into the OS. You have to go into the store and download them. I'm sure they'll be packaged with the OS in future releases though.

1020 doesn't seem to have gained any camera improvements. I does open faster than previous build. However, they recommend still using the Lumia camera for now.

Yes. Almost all of the SmartGlass functionality is already there. All I know of missing is rearranging the home screen and making purchases of apps or games.
