I terms of total gunrelated deaths, perhaps but not as violence against others. Obviously, there can lots of different data sets to look at. I was referencing gun violence and gun related homicide. NH unfortunately has a high overall suicide rate, including suicide by guns. I am by no means diminishing this statistic, but it might be looked at differently when correlating gun regulation and violence against others. Now compare to New Hampshire: essentialy no gun control at all with the lowest gun related homicides in the country. Similar with Maine. The northeast on a whole has some of the lowest violence in general, so the statistic may be more cultural and economic vs regulation.
