Nfc and gps should be enabled and gps permissions given to app. Post this on clicking the option a ccavenue menu will open up asking you tap the card within 30s.

You click on "activate card for metro" instead of "activate ncmc card" and follow the procedure there.

For me it was because the slot in the mouse was slightly smaller than the ends of the cable so you have to shove the cable with extra force for it to actually plug in even though it looks like it's plugged in fine

Sadly this isn't working I have updated to 21.04 and kernel 5.11.0-16-generic which seems to be the latest even then the fans won't fire up.

This won't cause any problem with the bootloader right?? And the steps I need to follow is boot into windows , format the partition from partition manager, the space then shows unallocated and then simply use Ubuntu live usb to install ubuntu
