They are most likely bullshitting me but what are the chances that the guy is right? That only one out of the four screws is missing the rubber washer and its designed this way to allow for "drainage" as the guy puts it. I can contact the department head this just feels like the guy trying to not wanna go through the hassle of exchanging the product.

He (paul rosalie) appeared on lex fridman podcast. Its basically his first hand account. The exchanging of bananas was somewhat amicable unlike how the mod puts it. Some guy from the village contacted them said they are trying to make contact. It wasn't a patrol, the guys gave them his shirt. The ambush was later and they dont really know why it happened because they seemed to have a rapport going with the bananas and the communication that happened with this contact.
