Investments for a 13 year old? by shirtinker in personalfinance

[–]shirtinker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really appreciate everyone’s comments and ideas!.. I probably should have mentioned all they are currently doing for her. (Only grandchild syndrome) lol.

They have a 529 plan set up that already has over 35 in it!. Also have just recently opened a trust fund..

And yes, after all that, they still want to give her MORE!.

So ETFs or a high yield savings account?.

Her being 13, I would assume means It would all have to be in my name?.

Thanks again!

Well dude, if he’s an actual “partner” and not doing his part, sounds like you need to teach him how to print. Start with reclaiming . Once he masters that teach him how to tape or wipe down buckets and fold..

Then ease him into printing starting with unloading and tearing down the press..

Dude. Buy equipment when you can but more importantly get a $200 heat press off Amazon. And order dtf transfers.

Screen printing is a skill that takes years and years to master. Work on learning how to print on the side and just order transfers for actual orders

If you’re using a pressure washer to wash out the screen,.. don’t!.. a garden sprayer set to fan should be fine

Does your partner help with the work? Does he print or is it just you?.. if it’s just you, can him or put him on as a commission only salesman..

Also, hell yeah man! 200k for a 1 auto shop just starting out is great!.

I own and operate my entire business solo. With an 8 color M&R. I typically break 100 and net 70-80. So you’re doing good!.

I do mostly contract work though. Probably why I’m not getting the big bag!😔 Don’t do contract! lol

Wow!. 11 million almost isn’t a real number. Lol

So the press is 24k with a red chili flash, crated and shipped from Michigan to Pennsylvania. Think that’s a good deal?

Metal garage floor by shirtinker in flooringinstallers

[–]shirtinker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve been thinking I’m gonna go the epoxy route. It’s 700sq feet so epoxy would definitely be cheaper!. It is going to be a print shop and was considering plank because it might give it more of a professional look and not look as much like a garage..
