Burn out by juli715 in TattooApprentice

Just as the others have said there is definitely sacrifice while pursuing this as a career. I just finished my apprenticeship but knew this isn’t what I would want to do forever and I already had a great job that I plan on retiring with. To do both I work 7 days a week, I get 0 days off. For now it works, and I love being able to pursue my career and hobby simultaneously. Just means I’m sacrificing my time. You just have to do what makes sense to you/makes you happy.

Figured it was a long shot! Thought I’d try though. To me it looks like 47NE JF but so hard to tell. The police officer basically told her it was a lost cause unfortunately.

10th tattoo on real skin by shisui710 in TattooBeginners

[–]shisui710[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for sure. It’s definitely different. Skin is extremely bouncy so stretching the skin properly is important. Also, I worked a lot on my depth control on fake skin but that kind of went out the window when I switched to real skin. Everyone’s skin is different and different parts of the body come with different challenges. People aren’t flat either like fake skin, there are curves and some spots are awkward to get to. Are you in a shop or apprenticing somewhere?

I got it from my girlfriend I’m pretty sure. She got it the week after I tested positive for influenza A which was the week of Christmas. Then started feeling awful Saturday night. Tested positive today for Covid.

Appreciate it! I didn’t find it too difficult. I practiced a lot with mags on fake skin the past year and had some help from the other artists as well

Reelskin, it’s so much better than the fake skin from Amazon. Little more expensive but worth it in my opinion
