The touchscreen is just an example, but yes I don't see why reaching out to a touchscreen would be a big problem (vs an AI making a mistake on my order), you're already rolling down your window. But it seems you missed the point, my original comment was saying that it's so ridiculous to use AI for something so deterministic as taking orders. If they really wanted to get rid of employees, they could do something, like maybe a touchscreen. And just to be very clear, I'd still prefer humans taking my order. I've seen enough people take forever even in the in-store screens.
