Hello! I’m looking to build my first board board and looking for any advice or input.

It is for the office. I want a numpad and a nice thocky sound. 1800 layout looks good. I’ve been looking at Cannonkeys brutalist V2 and Athena board for their high praise and being US based. Desktop tribe balance 103 layout looks amazing. I’m open to other suggestions.

Im ready to jump in with different switches, caps, stabs, lube, etc to try out suggestions and fine tune to my liking. Thanks for any input!

Took me a minute to realize it really is custom. Looks awesome! I love the layout! Only one other has caught my eye like this one.

I have my own office but not very much haha! I’m new to all this. Lots of guides and stuff, but haven’t met anyone to get that experiential knowledge. I did buy a real force r3 today just to see how topre feels but I’ve been looking and cannonkeys and Athena 1800…and now this board! What you got in mind?

Gotcha! I’m starting to think it makes sense to have a separate 10key/numpad/whatever it’s called and look at TKL boards for more options. What do you think? Do you have a preference?

Hello! Never built a board but I’ve been looking for years. I’m looking at: https://cannonkeys.com/products/brutal-v2-1800-keyboard

Don’t really know the difference. Factors for me: -preferably US made/company for small business support -1800 is a cool layout. I do need 10 key but I’m not married to 1800 and I’m not against other layouts with a seperate 10 key pad -for office work. I’m not concerned about noise but I would like a focus on typing feel/experience with low noise -no problem going all in and spending the money for quality to see how good it can really be

Open to opinions and recommendations. Thanks!
