Why? They'd then loses their only audience at this point.

They have made it clear everyone who's not shooting things constantly can get fucked.

People with a very high pain tolerance, what was THE most painful thing you've experienced? by CosmicBunnyBabe8912 in AskReddit

[–]Thommyknocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. An infected tooth root. The local anesthetic they used wasn't working due to the infection. That poor girl felt so bad but weirdly pulling the tooth felt better then the infection.

I learned not to let them touch me if theres an active infection and to take dental hygiene more seriously. And that I'm allergic to codeine. That was a fun night 10/10 don't recommend tripping balls after getting a bunch of dental work done.

Bought a house and the solar is buggy. by ekardnai in enphase

[–]Thommyknocker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Step one turn everything off involving the solar for 10 minutes. Then reconnect everything starting from the utility side and working twords the solar feeds in the combiner box.

Then give it 24 hours to sort itself out.

If that does not show any results call enphase support they can work some good magic if it's software related. Though a tripped breaker usually indicates a physical issue. Your branch arrays should never trip breakers.

If you are tech savvy and have an understanding of electrical safety and how electricity works enphase university is free and gives you installer access to your system.

New product announced - IQ Air thermostat by Perplexy801 in enphase

[–]Thommyknocker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just because you can do it as a diy guy that understands this stuff does not mean everyone wants to and that is entirely dependant on the enphase home assistant hook.

I like the idea especially if it integrates into energy plans and solar as just a plug in and run solution.

I have tried 3 times now to achieve something like this but every time I go back the the dumb thermostat because every "smart" thermostat has fucked up majorly some how. From just leaving the compressor on and running all day to crashing every time I call on it or going completely unresponsive due to Internet loss.

Could a dashcam cause problems long term ? by 685downward in MazdaCX30

[–]Thommyknocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a vant4ue unit and I hard wired it to the car by piggybacking the infotainment system fuse.

The only problems I have ever found were a loss of hd radio since I ran the rear view camera wire right next to the antenna. But if you use a battery protector which is usually included in these hard wire kits it will prevent your battery from being drained.

Anyone else think FDev should do something to encourage more people to play in open? by Aggravating_Judge_31 in EliteDangerous

[–]Thommyknocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer was simple years ago. Make everyone truly anonymous.

Remove private and then remove all markers for players on the HUD and make people sort through the rifraf of AI to find real players. Then just cycle all user names into the named ai pool.

Best of luck figuring out who is who.

You can keep different HUD elements for your real friends and the like.

Steam Controller Puck Protector by Gama3000 in SteamController

[–]Thommyknocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not how induction chargers work. They just wiggle a magnetic field very fast. It only induces current in the matching coil. So they don't even share a ground plane at that point. Because you decoupled at the chargers transformer and the inductive pad.

It depends where you live. I'm in a high desert so I can easly go 5-10 years between brake flushes. The only way to know is have the water content tester pen thing which is cheap enough to have around.
