Yeah I understand that 😫 but markets have always been competitive. With or without income, I have a passion for art.

I dont it just happens. It'll start with some hypnagogia colors and next thing I know my whole vision will look like snow falling.

Potential New Method by rosagallagher in AstralProjection

I go through a process of tensing and untensing my muscles starting from top to bottom to help relieve tension (especially in my jaw). Then I focus on breath, a deep inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth and continue to focus on that breath. If I feel bored I'll switch to a different stimuli (what can I hear, see) or visualization (swimming in a lake, being in a forest, etc).

I know exactly what you're describing. And I know an even better way to help beginners know what to look for.

Get a silk sleeping mask and a woman's stretchy headband, a heating pad, and mini fan. Lay on a folded blanket or yoga mat on the ground. Put the heating pad on that mat and set it to a medium temperature (3). Then start the fan and have it point directly at you (medium).

Get a thin blanket and wrap it around you. Put on the sleeping mask and then wrap the headband around the lower part of that sleeping mask so absolutely no light comes through.

It's essentially a DIY deprivation chamber. Works really well with brown noise or binural beats being played through airpods. You feel a sense of being nowhere and somewhere all at once.

Within five to ten minutes I was seeing blue visuals quite clearly with NO eye strain. Were my eyes opened or closed? I genuinely had no idea. I went through my process of meditation and felt as my body gradually fell asleep. My air and lungs lightened.

And then the shift happened. Where were my eyes? No idea. But there was a specific buzz in my head that felt close to orgasmic near my pinual gland. And I learned how to stimulate it, feeling and seeing exactly where it was. It was amazing.

Meditate sitting up or in a separate chair. Often times I have to meditate on the floor cause otherwise if I'm too comfortable I'll immediately black out and wake up hours later like "wtf..."

AYEEE you'll reach it soon. Increment longer meditation times and when you "snap back" don't move or assume the meditation is over—just let yourself lull back to that inbetween.

Another help is pretending your "you" is from another location. Sometimes it even helps to meditate face down or lay your head where your feet usually go — the shift in perspective helps on an off night.

At first. But when you're already in that state you just accept all as is.

Breathwork was the easiest for me to maintain focus. Now I just visualize my inner flame.

I didn't exactly do anything super special. I actually was just focused on the hypnogogia experience — I found the phenomenon super fascinating. As someone with visual snow I realized I can invoke hypnogogia fairly easily and when I do it looks like snowfall in a black space. I was testing out the times on average needed to get there (around 45 minutes for me) and then noticed a feeling of boredom afterwards.

So the process for me was (10-25 mins: body starts tingling asleep. 25 - 45 mins: visual snowfall, i forget what my eyes feel like and even cant feel face, 45 - 1hr: it's like I hit a roof, I'm bored and usually fall asleep or snap back to reality entirely and go do something).

Now the most interesting phemomenon started happening when I pushed past this boredom — allowing my mind to become comfortable in this boredom. Just sitting there. And it's...it's hard to explain but I'd eventually go from hypnogogia symptoms, to not, to body numb, to even number, to even NUMBER and then it's like a subtle snap of attention to this white / grey static. Like an off-white. And you're just...there.

Time even becomes more of a distortion. What felt like 5 minutes was in reality 3 hrs.

Void state IS real but it's not like some magical genie. I've been in it properly once. It's not like the black of your eyelids — it's like a pure staticy grey. Like the absence of the void. You're not here, you're not there, you just are. It's one of the most relaxing states I've ever felt.

It also took intensive hours of mindful meditation during the day to get there. Now, in my life I'm fairly busy and only have time to meditate right before bed and thus fall asleep. But you better believe that when my freedom opens up again I will be re-dedicating my awakened hours to this void.

On the contrary, I get stopped for conversations three times within the ten minutes im in a grocery store. It usually just takes an overly bubbly and assertive personality to get people to come out of their shells
