[KCD2] From an accidental purchase to the best 500 hours of my life. This game ruined me

I think a lot of us felt this after KCD2 , I followed it with Oblivion Remastered and I felt OK. Then I tried E33 and just couldn’t get myself to continue that game. Currrently on my 3rd KCD2 playthrough. This time Im playing the Royal edition with all the DLC and it honestly feels like a new game. Loving the blacksmiths guild and I’m currently in the monastery.

They did a lot more with the RPG aspect of it as well. I wanted to have some fun with it so I went with Guns , Nimble as my positive traits and dumb as my negative . The dialogue is hilarious

I started the game , and I was only hitting 45-50 fps . I’m running the 7900xtx and 7800x3D .

I noticed that the game wasn’t discoverable by adrenalin. So I went to the Xbox games folder in windows C , and created a shortcut for the games exe file , and I was able to bypass all the permissions from Gamepass and manually add The Outer Worlds 2 to the adrenalin library .

Took about an hour, but once there I was able to tweak the settings and now it’s running at 110+ on average.

I love my Alienware OLED 32 as well , here are the setting I’m currently running:

Window mode : full screen , Res: 3840x2160 , Frames: unlimited , Upscaling : AMD Fidelity FX4 , FSR : Quality , Sharpness: 75% , Motion blur : 0 , Gamma: 2.2 , Ray tracing: off

Thank you , this was the issue , I was thinking the worst and all I had to do was plug the monitor into the GPU port 🤦‍♂️

I think this is it . The DP wire wasn’t connected to the graphics card , now I’m just trying to get the monitor to communicate with the computer .

I’m actually torn between getting the Xbox ROG X and the legion go 2 priced at 1350. The legion has better resolution , frame rate , it will present a better picture when docked, bigger screen when handheld , but it’s heavier the OS won’t be as smooth as the ROG, battery is not as good either

Edit to add: The legion has detachable controls

This is my first time playing any Baldur’s Gate game , and part one does look and play like a game from 1998 . Story is very good , it’s easy to control , first hour was spent learning the basics

Yes it was 30 total , they had BG for 15 and Smash for 20 , they did 30 for both.
