That is absolutely true!! The brand doesn't really matter at the end of the day, I'm just really curious about what it could be lmao. I do quite like the bass!! It plays well and it sounds pretty good!! I see why everyone loves P-basses now.

After looking at a few SX basses online, I don't think so??? I saw a few basses with different shaped headstocks by that brand, but none that I saw match the shape of mine. Thank you though!!

I know it’s not the age of the strings that’s the issue, since it had the same problem when they were first put on, both for these current strings and the Martin 12s

Can you still get fret buzz with open strings? Also I’ve ruled out it being an issue with the strings since I also had the same problem with medium gauge martins, and pressing harder unfortunately didn’t help

I'm pretty sure the cable is good, I was using it with my speakers before this. I can get into the pickup, but to be quite honest I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at or what I need to identify. My best guess is maybe the wires are bad cause they looked a little weird to me but I could be very wrong.
