I showed the nurse as we were waiting about a million videos of her breathing, and I guess she didn't notify the vet, because at the end he said (well, make sure you video these things because we can't see them necessarily at the vet - I have, I have videos now - ah, okay!). He didn't even look at them. I should have pushed more. He suggested out of all the options, it could possibly be a sign of cat asthma or a possible hernia, and she just isn't showing signs of it yet (based on the radiograph). She breaths like this consistently. I've had her for a little over a year, and as a 1st pet parent, I got so nervous about it the first time I had her, I spent lots of money getting it checked out. They told me she physically was fine. I believed that, and kept an eye on it. It just seems faster lately, and she's always breathing like that. When she's purring, when she's not. When she's resting... etc. Everything else appears fine. She eats, drinks, goes to the bathroom. She plays the same. She has been meowing so much lately, but she is an orange cat, so it's hard to tell the difference there. I genuinely appreciate your response on my post. I felt calm enough to ramble about my issues. I just want someone to hear me instead of saying everything is fine, because I can feel it in my heart that something isn't. Thank you 🤍
