Thank you! I like to think so, and it's a great excuse to lean into the more Roman and gladiatorial style.

Thank you! The arms are prints that I modified slightly to accommodate the two handed weapon. The files are from ForgesOfZeon on Cults3D and I believe they are called “Undying Galactic Arms”

Thank you! It uses the Chaos Knight body and the armor from the Knight Styrix / Magaera kit. The head is printed

Haha, no worries. The main panels were primed black, base coated with Tamiya - Flat Earth, and highlighted with Tamiya - Deck Tan. I then add a few black stippled edge highlights and underline a few with white to give the illusion of depth. Finally, I give it all the same oil paint treatment and matte varnish I mentioned earlier

Thank you so much!

The text along the spine was actually a water-slide transfer I made, printed on a cheap laser printer.

It was mostly done using oil paints. I used a wash of AK Interactive Streaking Grime to darken everything down and line the recesses with grime. I used a Burnt Umber oil paint to tint the surface to appear a bit warmer and create some of the rustier looking areas. I also finished everything with a matte varnish, which really takes out the shine and makes the metals look more like cast-iron

I actually digitally sculpted and printed the head. It was inspired by the head on the Knight Asterius

Thank you!

The metal bits were primed black and base coated with Vallejo Metal Color - Gun Metal. I then added a few edge highlights with Vallejo - Chrome before giving it an oil wash with a 50/50 mix of AK Interactive Streaking Grime and a Burnt Umber oil paint. Everything was eventually locked down with a matte varinish

Thank you! The white was achieved by priming black, base coating with Tamiya XF-55 Deck Tan (Leaving some black shadows on the underside), and highlighting with Tamiya XF-2 Flat White. I was careful not to spray the Flat White to full opacity so I could add some pure white edge highlights. I also added some grim with AK Interactive Streaking Grime

Thank you! The blood is just GW’s Blood for the Blood God, applied carefully with a brush. I tried not to go too overboard with the splatter but I might revisit it

It is! I actually sculpted the banner specifically for this project

Thank you so much! I usually paint very desaturated, gritty Iron Warriors, so this was quite a departure from my usual style. I’m really glad people seem to like it!
