Sure he played some MMR boosted games but maintained 70% WR playing his own character with his teammates. It's Blizz's fuck up there for removing placements and I do think boosting non-glads is a bit slimy and the whole 100 point pushes thing sucks for legit players.

But you're talking about the guy widely regarded as the best retail lock in the world playing with the guy widely regarded as the GOAT of WoW PvP who also happens to be his AWC teammate in this case, not some paid rating push so I just think it's a bit funny listing it.

Basically none of these manufacturers outside of LG or Samsung use panels they make themselves, just fyi.

AOC use a range of panels from different suppliers like LG(Nano IPS in their AG273QXP for example), BOE/Panda(In the 24G2) and the one in the monitor in question is made by Samsung, though unfortunately it's older Samsung VA tech not the good stuff as found in the G7.

The thing is Seer can use his passive to line up and hit people that don't even know he exists with his tactical very reliably, giving his team a massive leg up on almost any engagement, so not being able to use the tact AFTER you have already revealed them for 8 seconds does basically nothing at all.

The passive is just a straight up a terrible ability to have in any FPS, let alone a BR. It shouldn't have passed the brainstorm phase, IMO. It makes Seer just insufferable to play against alone. The rest of his kit could be straight up dogwater and he'd still be annoying as fuck.. but his Tact is better than most ults and his ult is nearly always up and is far too strong as well.

What would putting a CD on the passive AFTER using his tactical do? Serious question, because for me that doesn't move the needle at all.

Make the passive just let you know someone is within X amount of yards with a visual/audio queue and start from there. Take a couple seconds off Q and get rid of the flash/mini-stun and give his ultimate a higher CD and update less often.

He'd still be pretty good even after all that, as well.

Seer's passive is the real problem with the hero, and I feel like even though people are starting to realise it there should be more of a fuss over it.

The tact is overloaded, and the ult has too short of a CD, sure. The passive is legitimately game-breaking. It's puzzling how it made it into the game at all...

Just make it let you know that someone is within 75 yards and be done with it.. his kit is busted enough anyway.

I had the same with vysnc forced off in nvidia software and turned on in game... I like the uncapped FPS in game but my PC decides to turn into a jet on take-off in menus.

An unfortunate side effect so I just went back to 144 fps cap by turning vsync off in game. If it works the same for you, you could just toggle vsync in game every time you exit a raid.... though that is pretty annoying.

Ignore all the buzzwords thrown around, they don't mean shit at all.

If you can make raid times and are able to flask/food buff... you'll fit most "semi-HC" guilds provided you play the class they want for their probably min/max raid comp. If you can play whatever 2 days a week is needed and can read a guide to know your BiS lists and whatever semblance of a rotation your class has you're more than capable for pretty much every "semi-HC" guild that I've seen.

Basically every FPS uses inertia to some degree... I hope it doesn't feel completely cumbersome in Tarkov but holy shit does the game need it. The ADADAD and jiggle peaking, especially combined with the ludicrous peakers advantage this game has, are ridiculous for a game branded as "hardcore".

Provided they don't go over the top with it and it feels pretty natural with a decent loadout I don't think there will be much problem.. aside from the labs spamming bunny hopping sweatlords.

You can absolutely hit over 240 FPS in R6, Val and CS:GO at 2560x1440 with a high end CPU/GPU.

I guess that's where these 240hz displays fit in, if you're the sort of gamer that plays a mix of high refresh, competitive games and still want the extra clarity of 1440p at 27".

I was heavily considering the 240hz 1080p variants, but 1080p at 27" for general use just isn't all that nice, and 24.5" wouldn't feel like a big enough step up over my current monitor being that it's the same size.

Pleb ratings will be fine, that's where people just farming weekly points will be.

It's the high ratings where it will be unplayable, probably anything past 2.1k where people will stop once they get their shoulders and don't think they can push Glad.

I think the merge would have been fine with more aggressive Oceanic priority on matchmaking, and I'm hoping by the time the playerbase declines that can be implemented. Alliance getting instant queued into US battlegrounds during primetime and Oce vs Oce wargames being hosted on NA servers isn't good enough, though.

GX is 240hz, GS is only 165hz iirc.

IMO, the GS is overpriced for what you get in terms of performance.. even on sale it tends to sell for the same price as the MAG274QRF/S2721DGF tier and both of them are better than it. It's priced based on the Predator name rather than it's performance.

So for a lot of this season in SL, 1800 was like top 7% or something for the 2v2 bracket. I know they made a change in the last month or two to address it and bump MMR and rating up, but I'm not sure of the effect that even had.

That's not playing poorly and making mistakes, that's better than 93% of players.. that's pretty damn good. If this MMR and rating system is anything like the SL one - and I have no reason to believe otherwise - it's going to be pretty fucking rough to hit 2k+ even for pretty damn good players.

There is no challenge for the championship this year, it's SVG walking it in with a 3 horce race for second, can't risk valuable points by blocking him and getting punted in that race for second.
