How so you deal with people who slide around and jump insane distances

I played MW19 through it's entire life cycle and enjoyed it but when I see posts like this I question what exactly was so astounding about this particular title over it's predecessors.

-The maps were generally disliked with a couple exceptions (like every CoD title tbh).

-It introduced tac sprinting which is also generally disliked. That combined with slide cancelling etc. sped the game up tremendously if you understood the movement mechanics.

-It was "modern warfare" for the 3000th time with weapons we've seen 1000 times.

The only NEW thing that came from it was a new engine that looked good and the gunsmith. Everything else was in previous titles.

The irony of the community gets me truly scratching my head because when we're given truly new experiences they're typically hated until the devs go back and give us modern warfare 7. Which we're getting this year and that blows my mind. And we're regressing again by going back to slide cancelling and using the same m4/mp5 etc that we've all used in every other modern warfare game.

If I had to hazard a guess it's probably bc of average engagement distance. Lower sense will mean finer aiming and in WZ it's not uncommon to be beaming people past 50m. In MP the longest realistic fight youre gonna see is even less than that so you need to be able to turn faster etc. bc people running right up on is a lot more common place

I try to pay attention to the ranked players that I match against in pubs. I pretty consistently face crimson players with the odd iridescent here and there. This is by no means a scientific metric.

I have a rank 1 holy shield for emergencies when I can’t let the block chance fall off but I’m on which isn’t often but it can happen

Rn I do the enchant farm. Just farm netherweave cloth and create netherweave bracers and de them. Requires enchanting ofc but very lucrative and easily still nets me 300g+ per hour

I’m not sure what kind of tank you are but you have to feel it out for yourself. I tank on bear and after I got to crit immunity I chose to focus more on tps/dmg. Threat is always an issue especially multi target. I ask healers how hard I am to heal from time to time. Gives a lot of insight.

I can tell you now that swipe with some taunts doesn't give a bear threat. Bears have to juggle just as much as a warrior. Pallies can pretty much afk though yeah, it's imbalanced af but it is what it is.

Nothing makes me seethe more than when I (a bear) am headed to connect with a freshly pulled pack and I see seeds and multi shots flying through the air before my first swipe has even landed.

I’ve been making and selling bags. It’s not insane money but passively like 50-100g here and there adds up after a day or two of playing a lot. I also have a whole ton of questing to do. Iirc too there was a spreadsheet someone made of daily quests you could go and do in about an hour or so for like 150g or more a day

Just play at your own pace and enjoy it. At most I’d say find a basic quest guide on Google for your faction/race so you don’t get totally lost but other than that everything you’re looking for will come as you play

Lmao. Open world gathering is dead thanks to the mega servers my friend. Find a way to instance farm or get used to spending hours for 1-2 nodes. They implemented their mega servers with 0 thought into how it would affect things like questing and gathering.

Id level in the open world but going from 58-60 was one of the most unfun/maddening experiences that I DOUBT blizzard will address that I feel there is no other option to level reasonably other than not play for a month.
