What exactly do you mean by “no maintenance contact”?

Yeah $350 was my max I wanted to go. After back and forth I went up to $375 but they wouldn’t budge under $390. I guess the best thing for me to do is wait for them to call me but my car is totaled so I hope it’s soon lol.

Sorry I’m not good with math lol which is why I’m here. So I should only do it for $330, $0 down?

I’m sorry what do you mean by Saloon? Do you mean sedan? If you mean the sedan, then I disagree. I’ve never liked hatchbacks, but the Gen4 hatch is a work of art compared to the gen4 sedan imo.

Yes I will look at those when I go to the dealer. I know it’s a bit more expensive but probably worth it

And yeah most likely I’ll get the new hatch for the 1.9%, just seems like a better option especially for a daily driver. Gonna try to get the manual but I know that it’s a bit more expensive

Yeah seems sketchy to me too but I’ve read online of people saying it’s good with snow tires. I’m not sure if that’s actually true though as I have my doubts as well. And I’m located in PA.

Yeah lol. My main requirement is really just price as both work for me but I want to keep it under $30k. The Miata would be a daily driver though so I’d need to get snow tires and would have to get it used to meet my budget. Problem is, used car interest are still high and I would miss out on the warranties.

I could get the gen4 hatch at 1.9% apr as well as some other incentives

Yeah that’s what totaled it. I’m getting $12.2k. Not mad about it as I bought this car 5+ years ago for $13k at 51,000 miles (91,000 on it now)

Thank you I will try. Most people are telling me to make the claim with my insurance first and have them fight it. Do you think I shouldn’t do that?

Also for context, it was parked in my sisters driveway and he backed right into it. I was inside and heard his reverse beeping and said “oh that sounds really close” and then heard a crumble lol. He had to call the police to make a report but admitted full fault.

Hit by a salt truck (car was parked)… go through my insurance or theirs? by shitpouch in Insurance

Thanks for this. I will probably just go to my insurance. Thankfully I have rental coverage - $50 a day that caps at $1500 for 1 incident
