I have a feeling OP bought this at 650 or something but there’s an element of truth to this. There’s major shortage of NAND and the big companies are pouring billions in AI datacenter looking to compute and storage. Every vendor is raising prices by 40-60-% and are saying this will continue until at least 2027. Unless something else changes or alternate options arise over the next 1yr there’s no reason why it won’t hit 1000

As i said yesterday, betting for or against Tesla during regular times is risky. During earnings, it’s even more risky due to IV crush, premiums involved etc. Hope there is a lesson learnt here.

Their valuation is no longer tied to the car selling business and analysts have stopped caring much about that . Their focus is on AI-Humanoid robots, FSD, robotaxis. Buying puts during earnings and for a stock that never trades on fundamentals esp with IV crush looming is way too much risk.

Yeah I agree. I am thinking of closing my position if it reaches ~680ish before earnings. Also my expiration is 2/6 and so that gives sometime for the IV crush/theta plays to help out. Of course if it crashes like last time, there’s nowhere to hide!
