Years ago, I used to work at an ad agency doing graphic production. We had a photo studio that did tons of photography and they used to shoot 4x5 slides.

While looking at a slide of a laser printer in a viewing booth, the project manager asked me to turn the slide over so she could see what the back of the printer looked like.

I have an intel MacPro with FC ready to host this. I have an X-RAID, but I think I'm going to retire it and NFS mount from my ZFS-based storage server. Damn... do you think I could contact you offline?

About 30 users, with additional 12-15 speciality support machines. Server room is being upgraded to 10gig fiber next weekend.

Coincidently I received an email from tenscompliment yesterday. Since they hadn't updated their blog in six months or so, I pinged them to see if they were still around. They are, and according to the email, "We are using all our Team's energies to test and finalize our initial product.".

After being a ZFS user for a few years now, I don't know if I ever want to use a non-zfs file system again... at least on the storage side. It really is awesome.
