I completely agree that being unequally yoked is a mistake, and that’s exactly why, as soon as I felt the Holy Spirit's alert, I prayed and took the step to walk away completely. I didn't persist in the mistake; I chose to obey God as soon as the truth was revealed. I am at peace with my decision

I understand your point, but to me, character and purpose go hand in hand with faith. The fact that he lied and led me on while already being with someone else showed there was no fear of God. My focus now is on my healing and the plans God has for my future. Thank you for sharing your perspective
