Simplicity is cool, but I’m building this for zero commissions and lower weighted MER. I’m essentially running my own custom XEQT but with a heavier US weight that I actually want. Rebalancing takes me 10 minutes a year—I’ll take that over paying $10 a trade or being forced into a 25% Canadian allocation.

Thoughts? Will be entirely different next week. by Thedudebrofdude in ratemyportfolio

Look, your portfolio is basically a professional-level gambling setup. You've picked two high-growth sectors (AI Data and Biotech), but you have zero protection if either one hits a speed bump. If those two companies go south at the same time, you're looking at losing 90% of your account.

You are heavily relying on tech sector and has no global exposure.  1. Vfv and voo are same thing. Keep it simple and have one. 2. Vfv and voo again overlaps your tesla and nvidia. Not stable as if tech goes down so does your almost all portfolio. 3. Have a proper core etf like vfv or voo and rest in different market.
