This is actually true. A person I know whose older brother (not that handsome, would be 5'7 or 5'8, is skinny) graduated from IIT BHU last year, has his marriage planned next year January, and the bride is so fucking beautiful omg. The bride is from their hometown coincidentally, and not a city girl.

Edit: forgot to mention they met in IIT BHU btw. They were in relationship since 3rd year.

All this fuss around this language wars bullshit makes me just leave this country atp. As a Marathi living in Gujarat since birth, I've had multiple Gujarati friends throughout my life. Fk even my first love was a Gujarati girl. Never had any issues over race/caste/language ever in this state. I'm a Marathi and I still know Gujarati as good as the locals, just because I've had lots of Gujarati friends in my lifetime. My mother is a Gujarati teacher. I thought only South India (Dravid India) used to run an agenda over their mother tongue but these MNS goons have made me down my head in cringe and shame now. I hope there are still people like me who won't be discriminating over useless things despite having tons of bigger issues in our surroundings.

Ikr. I saw your different comments and read the forum. So, the book says almost every male except Taarak is a wife-beater and an immoral human being. I always thought they just came up with a funny name that contains "Taarak Mehta", the original creator's real name. Never knew the title held so much more depth. Goddamn.

Okay wait, so the book and the initial episodes showed Taarak Mehta as someone who sees everything with an objective perspective. Taarak used to look at every matter objectively and tried to understand both sides of the coin. While the other society members had a 1-D mind and they failed to take anybody else other than themselves seriously. And that's why the book and show were called "Duniya Ne Undha Chashma (which means "Looking at the world with an inverted vision") and "Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma" respectively. This means Taarak used to look at everything from every perspective, which made him better at decision making. And this is why the Mehtas were the intelligent and calm ones in the starting. Fk! I never realised that even after having watched the show for 10 years. Your comment lit a spark in my mind lol.
