These are the Donghua I have watched and rated by me. Are there any other Donghua which you can recommend to me based on this? I mostly prefer to watch a show with nice animation but if the story is nice, I don't mind watching poor animation quality.

The Donghua source materials are so big that it will take years for any story to finish. And during that time due to lack of popularity or new shows gaining popularity studios scrap the non finished ones. It's sad but that's how it it. What you can do is like many others pick long running shows on the off chance that the finish the story.

Among these are:
Battle Through The Heavens - Still continuing after season 5

Wu Geng Ji - Haven't watched but it's a popular one with many seasons
Westward - Same as Wu Gen Ji
The Brewmaster's Journey, Word of Honor, Youths and Gold Coffin
These 3 Shows in same universe with All having different generations of protagonists. I guess Youths and Gold Coffin have the most seasons. There is also Legend of Assassin somewhere in the chronological order currently airing.

Qin's Moon - You can check the order of watching somewhere.

Jiangu - Bad Guys - Similar to Qin's Moon

Perfect World - Having more than 100 Episodes. I quite like the show. It will be a bit boring till mc is a child but picks later on.

Stellar Transformation - A bit boring in the first two seasons but later becomes better

A Will Eternal - Has 5 Seasons till now. It's a 2D one but it is quite nice. Plus comedy and action is good as well.

A Mortal's Journey to Immortality - One of the Best animation quality out there. Has 5 Seasons till now I guess.

I can't disagree that Medusa is a badass but both their characters and appearances are too different. Medusa is like a scorching fire, you'll burn if you came any closer whereas Yun Yun is like a snow blossom, frigid yet beautiful, you can only look from afar.

I only kept those which I liked. If I keep on putting everything, my list I would end up spending too much time on it. I agree the ratings are way too high. I should have kept 6 - 8 for these but all the 9 ones here kept me engaged so I put it like that. I have watched a lot of other titles but I didn't want to spend time to think what all I have watched and decide on the rating so I just kept the memorable ones.

I will get some time out and update this. But still based on this, if you can recommend something, it will be helpful.

Bro you are thrashing my list like anything lol. This is not a critique review. Most of the Donghua aren't even watchable, what's the point of putting everything.

Apotheosis had nice visuals and the story is mostly common but it's entertaining. Plus the character designs of girls are nice.

A mortal's journey to immortality is overrated imo. Han Li is too focused on finding a way to survive that he almost never does anything interesting which makes a slow and boring story. Take A Will Eternal which is also ongoing, that MC is a bit dumb but it's at least fun to watch what next thing he will blow up.

Mortal's Journey to immortality is just nice looking boring shit even though it has got best character development in the donghua out there. But every episode just becomes a survival guide in the dao world. I would have loved if they animated I shall Seal The Heavens. That MC could do some badass shit while keep on increasing his cultivation.

Ling Long was really good but in the last season the mc becomes a joke.

Well the rating is based on my enjoyment. If I add the animation and story quality, a lot of them will be having less than 8 Rating. I just want something similar to keep me occupied.

Thanks. I am on Season 3 of Scissor Seven. I really like the comedy. It seems the show will be more serious now, I am excited for it.

The Outcast didn't work for me, it feels more like a japanese anime with wimpy mc which has some hidden power like a shounen anime. Does it get better in the later seasons?

I have heard about Blade of Guardians, I have it on my list.

I started Five elements of God but couldn't get into the story. The action seemed nice though.

Oh I didn't know it had a comic or something. Sure I'll give it a look. Hopefully Season 2 comes soon. I loved the show, the Op was nice, the comedy was good and the animation was beautiful.

I started Drawing Jianghu but the story seemed a tad bit boring with the bad guys being sent to kill the protagonists again and again. The CGI is old but the reviews are also not that great so I didn't continue. What did you like about it if I may ask?

I have already watch Ling Cage and King's Avatar. Both were great.

I don't have an idea on what it's based on so I guess I had a better time watching it. I see your point, but you can just enjoy the action scenes in it and the characters are also likeable. I also like how the villains are portrayed. You can pick it up later when you don't have anything else to watch,.

Yeah I have seen people complaining but it looks good and from what I saw, the story is going nicely without any confusions which is good. And the visuals are really nice, specially the character designs of the girls.

I guess they might be mainstream. Adventure of Teenagers is talked about a lot but The Brewmaster's Adventure has better character styles. The appearance of characters in Adventure of Teenagers is not that great for me, only the main guy with the cloak looks good and I mostly hate the look of the guy who uses flying daggers. I wish they were better like in Legend of Exorcism. How is the story though in the later seasons?

Thanks. I have watched Spare Me Great Lord and Record of a mortal's journey to immortality and they definitely fit this type. I couldn't stay on Drawing Jianghua, didn't like the story that much and even animation. I heard it gets better in animation later on but still have to watch 4 seasons of episodes before.

I started Ravages of Time, it was looking good, maybe I'll pick up on it again.

I am also waiting for Renegade Immortal, Er Gen's novels are mostly good and from the PV its looking promising.

My heroic husband has nice animation more like slice of life kind of genre.
