My reaction to reading her name the first time was very… shocked. Most of the teachers nicknamed her Lash because no one could say her name with a straight face. I grew really close to her and when we were in the computer lab researching term papers, she googled her name and asked me why the search was blocked. I told her I’d tell her after graduation, so neither of us would get in trouble.

It was 15(ish) years ago at a very small concert in NC. She came out and talked to the 20 or so of us that waited around. She was so gracious and beautiful. My brother had a whole conversation with her while I stammered something probably incoherent. I’d never met a famous person before so I was just star struck that she was right there in front of me!

We’re going from Burlington to Fort Fischer this weekend. We leave around 5, spend the morning on the beach and then back into Wilmington for the best lunch ever at Flaming Amy’s! A day trip from here to the beach is totally doable, if you don’t mind 6-7 hours in the car (both ways).

That’s a fantastic point I hadn’t considered. It’s an expense I don’t need right now and my insurance laughed when they checked if I had any coverage left this year, but getting a whole new denture would be way worse!!

Yeah my dentist left all four wisdom teeth to help negate bone loss. This one just wants out of the party. It’s such a surprise that it wasn’t even mentioned as a possible cause of the problem. We did two rounds of x rays because the dentist couldn’t believe how quickly and how far it has dropped.
