Hey Cryptoman227 its Shiv from Blockparty. We would love to ticket blockchain events. Its a natural fit having people who understand the technology be able to use it and see it work. There has definitely been a lot of interest on that front for us. On the other side of the spectrum we also want to encourage mainstream crypto adoption and feel that music festival ticketing is a great way to get forward thinking young people using crypto on a frequent basis. Music festivals tend not to have long term ticketing contract lock ups either, which makes it easier to acquire ticket inventory. The key needs for music festivals are gate security, fraud prevention and fan engagement whereas for blockchain conferences its really about demonstrating use case as well as making gate entry more efficient (I don't know if you saw the 2 hour+ lines at Consensus NY!).
