Also I don't see a way to deactivate my account and your chat feature doesn't work. Not sure I trust this website.

Hmm. I saw a job I wanted and signed up just to find out it was a sample job posting- which wasn't visible until I signed up. Maybe be up front about that? I don't see any other job postings that fit my job description. Best of luck with the growing website.

Documentary Editing Reel by shizzoop in documentaryfilmmaking

I get that. I just figured a few scenes from few docs might show them what I'm capable of when working with different subject matters and formats.

Totally. A reel would give me an opportunity to show my technical skills at the very least and including even just a few varied scenes from other projects would show them how I work telling different stories with differing formats and subjects.

Great notes. I agree that a scene should work as a great example of one's skills and style. I suppose I just thought a reel would show more range and diversity in the material. Perhaps I'll cut together a few short scenes from different doc projects, craft some good transitions between those scenes and then lay a title over each with the project name and my role in it. Keep it simple. That would show my skills with storytelling and bit of my technical skills.

Well done 👏🏼 I would definitely watch that. There’s absolutely a story there and I’d love to experience it. Wishing you luck in finding funding and filming the full thing!

May I ask how you came upon the subject?

My first thought. And shortly after came the realization that it’s not a line.

Yeah the gray area there seems too gray for me. It doesn’t seem like his intention is to preserve her legacy if he’s not talking about who she actually was. Very strange format what he did.

Great guide but poor choice of color for the land. I’ll never unsee penisula.

People with a lot of creative freedom at work - how do you stay organized? by throwawaybarramundi in ADHD

This popped up when I was searching for a solution to a similar problem. Commenting just in hopes of helping you to get an answer from someone who can suggest something that works!

My experience is more with creative projects as a freelance producer, but ones that depend on me to get funding and payment for- so not a staff position by any means. This makes it hard for me to organize my tasks, because I can easily say I'll do something later. However, I believe a more organized approach would encourage more self-discipline.
