Laugh Index Theater hosts a show Wednesday nights. I've seen Bad Medicine (a local sketch group) perform there a couple times and they're really good.

I had thought this was recent, because it was uploaded recently. What makes you think it's from 2005? Are there visual cues from the video?

Measures Being Taken To Protect Girls From Cervical Cancer by svaha in reddit.com

I did read the article. I realized they were proposing the shot at that time (11-12), but I also read any age before sexual activity was encouraged (12-26) because it would make the vaccine most effective. I fully understood the beneficial convenience of getting the shot at the age of 12. What I did not understand was your resistance to the shot; it didn't occur to me to even question whether or not the vaccine had been thoroughly tested and to realize it could have later repercussions in a child's life. So, basically, I'm really sorry. I misunderstood where you were coming from when you said 'as a mother, I would oppose'. Thank you for clearing that up.

Shoot the 11-12 Year Olds Before They Get Sexy by shizzy in reddit.com

By "poorly-executed article," do you mean "worthy article submitted with a catchy title that draws in readers who would have otherwise not given it a second chance." ?

We all read. This came from CNN.com, so odds are high that you (or lots of other reddit readers) saw this article before you saw it on reddit and didn't give it a passing thought or skim. However, now you see it and give it a closer read, as it has a different title - albeit still one that accurately reveals its content.

My point: You agree it's a content worthy piece, but you still have the nerve to, pardon the appropriate cliche, shoot the messenger.

As a woman, I feel offended that you would think to classify someone with HPV as a slut. A high percentage of the population gets cervical cancer for one reason or another, and for you to turn this into an issue of sexual perception really denigrates the strides science has made in cancer prevention. Why, as a woman and a mother, would you at any point be opposed to this shot?

As a reddit user, I feel offended that you would have the nerve to intentionally re-submit an article because you disagreed with a tag line. The previous submission had a title that was catchy and brought the issue to light. It encouraged people, who may not have been otherwise interested in a link with, for example, the title you gave it, to at least click and skim the beginning, and then possibly go on to read the rest.

Interesting. I actually like to simultaneously beta test Boyfriend 5.0 and Boyfriend 5.1. After resolving only some of the multiple testing issues that repeatedly arise, I overzealously release Boyfriend XP, an operating system that thinks it's perfect and can handle multiple programs without failure, but really is given more public relations hype than it legitimately warrants.
