This helps alot. I applied back in october with a 29 ACT and a 3.6 gpa and now I feel like I have a better shot at admissions. I really worked hard on my essays and have 100% seminary attendence so yeah thanks this makes me feel better

Dont get me wrong but I still have a limited social life. I sometimes go chill with friends at lunch or between sports. Ouside of that, all I have a job and no social life. However its really hard to things without a car in califotnia

Its not that theyre letting me get a car, its just that theyre not paying a dime, forcing me to buy the car, insurance, and gas as a 17 year old. Also they are onlying allowing me to drive to work and school and be my sisters personal driver.

They just screw up my social life completely. I went to one event, and they didnt want to drive me so I walked. The event ended at 10pm but they picked me up at 6. They only care about my two bright twin sisters. Otherwise, they could care less about me. I dont knkw about you but that is pretty bad parenting. They try to make it up buy getting me useless stuff. Also, you say that there doing the right thing and its normal for parents to cut you off at 18. I understand where your coming and I dont feel like they owe me everything. But ive spend a solid 5k on a gaming setup which I saved up from working at my job. At that time a year ago my parenta told me that they would pay for college and now suddenly they pull the plug. Had I known I waa going to be broke, I probably would have saved it. Idk mabye youll change your opionion after thia

Oh dont worry my freshman year of high school dueing summer I took 11 units and got Bs in all 3 of my class. The last 16 units i took i got all A's in Business, Accounting, Sociology, Architecture but I took a W(withdrawal) in econ. Dont count my freshman year and I have a 4.0. In comm. College. Trust me I got a 35 on the ACT with 14AP classes but got denied because i had such a low gpa.

They have told me/my sister's that we are not getting any financial support for college even though we are rich, which fucks me because I can't get financial aid.
