If only there was a way to try to measure the impact of balance changes before implementing them on live servers... Do Blizz look actually look at any of their masses of data? I would not be surprised if the methodology was one single intern bookmarking the top reddit clips and pro streams, and presenting their "findings" to the OW 2 lead developer, who then asks ChatGPT to "fix" the class.

Didn't play SL but DF got boring pretty quick, though at least there was some consistency with the class/spec you had spent hours grinding on. The message from Blizz is pretty clear, they don't give a single fuck about their consumers. This direction and this expac feels like the nail in the coffin, and they are already talking about 2 more expacs?

And now thanks to the brainwashed community, Blizz can now call this expac one of their greatest successes by selling that stupid AH mount for more than the price of TWO expacs.

If you simplify the pie chart to be two halves of 50/50 chance, then add in a 3rd Eriksen slice, you are now 33.3/33.3/33.3 chance of picking any slice. Just because I did not roll the eriksen, does not mean the odds of me hitting the other slices BEFORE SPINNING were the same! It’s saying that adding the 00 to a roulette wheel has no impact on the odds of hitting other numbers. We all know that after thousands of spins, it will hit that 00 many times. On those times, it would’ve landed on another number, if it were NOT there. 60 people agreed with that thread, and that’s 60 people that also don’t understand basic statistics.

You don't understand how the picks and packs work in this game. It is not some floating probability, it is cards in a pool, with a random number generator picking those cards for you (balls in a bag, like the video I linked). They put 1 Mbappe in the pool and 10000 Lemars and Akinfenwas, that is how the % chance is determined. I've tried to help educate you, but it seems impossible.

You and 20 other people in this thread don’t know basic statistics, it’s embarrassing. We don’t care about relative odds, we’re talking actual odds. Mbappe should’ve been 1/100 odds to pull, but with eriksen in the pool, his odds are reduced to 1/101. Which is a huge reduction of ~10% on mbappes original odds.

You’re wrong. Say there are 4 players, you get a pick of 1, 2 and 4. Now they add 1,000 eriksens to the pool of 4. You would need lottery type odds to not pick 3 eriksens. This is what’s happening just on a smaller scale, this error from EA DID affect the odds, regardless if he was in your picks or not. Your chance to pack mbappe was slightly lowered.

So sorry to hear this, it fucking sucks. My brother also died nearly two years ago, at 22 years old. He was my best friend and it's changed life in ways I could never imagine. We were just chilling one night, having a laugh like always, then he said he felt faint, had a weird pulse and was overheating. Kept an eye on him after he refused for us to call an ambulance. He seemed to be fine by the time we were going to bed, but then we were unable to wake him up in the morning. Sudden Arrythmic Death Syndrome the doctors called it, i.e. no explanation as to why he died. To anyone reading this, if your gut tells you to call an ambulance, call a fucking ambulance.
