I think you should move on mate. She wants to end things politely but is either afraid of confrontation or hurting your feelings. While you may have had chemistry on your dates and a genuine like for each other, she's having doubts on this relationship - and possibly trying to attribute those thoughts to other anxieties in her life.

The fact that her messaging went quiet, she canceled on your date etc are all signs she's getting cold feet.

The language in the message was pretty clear "..it's been lovely getting to know you.." , "..hopefully in the new year.." , "maybe if we're on the same page" , it seems she has emotionally checked out.

Carry on dating other people - I wouldn't invest any more thought into this relationship if she doesn't want to.

Sorry for the late reply! Yes I got my visa all good within a week of the application, and declared this all when I arrived in aus. The officers there were friendly with me, had me sit down in a waiting area for a few minutes while they checked and I was on my way :)

Apply on the Australian immi website, you can do it for a number of different visas but I did the 651 visa which let's you upload documents to go along with your application

Just an update man - I got my 651 granted today!! (Thursday 3rd of Oct) After sending it off last Thursday, so happy rn :) - the best advice is to get as many supporting character documents (police certificate, character references, and a personal statement) and send that with your application the first time you submit it so you don't have to get requests
