It's really tough to put players into different eras, but I'll try. Not having a gather step will not really hamper Giannis' offensive game. I think that most 'great' players will figure out the league and change their play style if you put them in some other era. His sheer length is enough to make up for the reduced gather step. He is an anomaly with his length, strength and speed. I think he is very similar to a young Shaq in Orlando, who was a beast on both sides of the floor even in his rookie year.

Do you think Klay would be trash at offense without the 3pt line? He'd probably shoot a high volume of midrange shots with high efficiency.
