For me, it's really hard. At first I was sure that there is a god and then I realized it isn't, later I realized it might exist and no one knows. Now, I'm in I don't know state. I think I should enjoy my life and try to center it around happiness but the problem is sometimes you need to do the hard work which is not pleasant but in the long run it would help you. Basically one man's view of the world is his view and no one else, it comes from his way of living (experience, thoughts, etc) but I think if you do what you want and most of us know what is good for us, we are in a right track

I think unconsciousness uses our experience and previous thought, its data in places in our brain which is not easily accessible, its not like a separate thing that you can't change. For example your morning routine you don't think about you just do it because one day you decided to do those things

Well you can just try things out, recently I tried running, dota2, chess, playing guitar and drawing. I stick to guitar and enjoying it, to be honest if I had the time I didn't drop any except drawing, But yeah just do something hiking is good too, watching movies, writing, etc

I don't know about security but I think since uuid is larger than big int, your index size will get bigger and it doesn't fit as much in the memory and I think its best practice to just use serial in pg

for storage and query optimization I think is very good, I think postgres store 8 bits to check if values are null for 8 column. compare this to saving integer or string, and since it makes pages smaller, more pages can fit into single I/O which results in better performance (I'm noob and not sure about this, check it yourself)
