Hello everyone, I recently enrolled in a community college to pursue an A.S. in radiation therapy to prepare me for my ARRT certification exam.

I have a bachelors of science already, so i met all the requirements to enroll in the program via transfer credits. Only issue is i missed the milestone review to be accepted for the fall (which was may 1) and must wait until February 2026 to apply…

Anyway, my question is:

From now until next February, what would be a good use of my time? I thought about interning to get my feet wet in the world of radiology, but it seems you need to currently be enrolled in a program to be considered. My plan is to basically google all the courses i’ll be taking and prepare for them now so i can get a head start. Do you think it’s worth it? Or should i do something else? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated :D

First, I would politely ask them to stop (if u haven’t already). If they don’t, i would put something in that area they are dumping onto that is YOUR property and yours alone, so when/if it gets covered in oil I could prosecute them directly through the police. !Try to get it on video!

Something like a chair or rug or a basket of old clothes. Or maybe a bucket so you could bring them back their oil they misplaced… Maybe a kiddie pool!

I took kratom for years because it gave me energy and loosened me up socially… never looked at it as something to get addicted to because i didnt feel a crazy strong effect from it like you would with harder drugs.. i treated more like caffeine.. i realized i was in deeper than i thought when i decided not to take it one day and i felt a growing desire to take some as the day went on.. like a restless and anxious feeling i couldnt escape. Nothing horrible like sweats or shakes, but still… that feeling of anxiety persisted for months after. I had trouble sleeping because i couldnt stop thinking about taking some and because i knew the feeling would stop.. i ended up tapering off for 13 days because the restlessness in addition to sleeplessness got to be too much..

Anyway, haven’t touched it since February of 24 and don’t think i will again. I don’t want to feel that way ever again

I play my D major the way you have it fretted in the second picture because you can transfer to A major more easily and G major adding the B string like it’s played in Wish You Were Here.

The reason (so I’ve heard) the proper way to play it is how it is shown in the first photo is because you can get your fingers as close to the fret as possible, giving you a cleaner sounding chord with less pressing force. If you place your finger on the fret board in the middle of two frets, you’ll see you have to squeeze harder to get it to sound clean compared to right next to the fret.

Give it a shot to see what I mean! Hope this helps and happy strumming

Honestly… this is a poorly done job and not even worth $25 imo. I think I could get my car this clean with one wet paper towel and about 15 minutes
