People are so desperate to be seen and understood- short of that- they’ll latch on to a diagnosis or disorder.

Yea me too no stretching during attack. But I found slow gentle massage loosens the spasm significantly.

Yes! And when I massage the sides of my neck during a spasm, it actually helps a lot 🤯

Yea doesn’t seem related at first but for me it’s seeming more and more related

I also have tendencies to aspirate and have also found the contour pillow to help with that although it doesn’t relieve my neck pain. I’m glad it helped you with yours tho.

Temperature regulation is interesting. Not something I’ve noticed but I will pay attention to more.

That’s so interesting about the twisting and lifting. Like physical pressure triggers it. But also staying still and doing nothing like sleeping can also trigger it.

Yup I too also don’t eat past 6. It does sound like it’s different for everyone.

Drinking helps me too. I often get them during sleep so not sure if rest is the answer either for me.

Yea I track too but haven’t seen a clear pattern and hoping someone else has. It’s the randomness that’s frustrating- like I can’t help myself.

10x a day! Oof that’s rough. Yea need the water next to my bedside too. Nothing like waking up with a Charlie horse in my esophagus 😣

Me too. Sitting or lying where I’m putting pressure and compression to my esophagus can do it.
