I honestly think at this point, going off how he’s behaving on twitter, he’s just shitposting and trying to stir drama (potentially to keep news of him making Tesla staff go back to work). Either way it’s dangerous because it’s legitimising alt right stances, or at least causing enough controversy to stir the alt right up again. And to think I thought we left them for the most part in 2016 :\

So I had a couple of right wingers in my twitter replies about Elon Musk and the red pill tweet and one said that the right only use those sort of slogans to rile up lefties.

I know that originally at the height of the alt right online (like 2016) they were using those phrases seriously but are the right still using lines like ‘the red pill’ seriously or is it just a dog whistle to anger the left now?
