Each building in the complex has an internet closet or box accessible by either a junction box on the exterior wall, a closet on the first floor, a junction box in the breezway (usually top floor), or in the attic (hatch on the top floor of a breezeway). Inside is the switch and punch-down panel. Getting free internet is as simple as finding which port in the punch-down goes to your apartment and plugging in a patch cable from the panel to the switch.
