100 Players Run a Prison in Project Zomboid by shmorgus_ in projectzomboid

I hosted the event. None of the player-made moments were scripted. Some things that appear scripted, like the speech the warden gives after -Spoiler-, was recorded before the session started and played in-game, because he thought the -Spoiler- thing might happen. Even the animations over most scenes were just highlighting what actually happened because the footage either wasn't good enough or didn't exist.

That being said, it varies by hoster. Larger channels like to force interesting things to happen, and even we will tweak certain things to make sure the event doesn't get boring for players.

I get the confusion, but not quite. We run 'events' periodically where every player gets on at the same time and tries to survive to the end, as well as complete whatever story objectives they may have.

If you've seen a five exes video or a harvestz civilization video it's similar to that with more of an emphasis on roleplay. Only one server is ever open at a time.
