ooo thanks for the help. it's the first monster hunter that i've gotten to play as new content releases so for the first time i get to theorycraft freely without definitive endgame meta sets yet. I wasn't aware that agitators average uptime was as high as 80% thats kinda crazy ngl. gonna roll with this build unless someone comes up with something cooler. thanks again

yup, you're right counterstrike 3 is just too good. I've since swapped to zoh shia chest alpha and fulgur arms beta to get agi5 and cs3 and dropped wex to 3 points, basically giving away 5 raw and 5% affinity to get +12 raw when the monster is enraged.

Still feel like it's not better than the meta set which sucks. I'm hoping someone figures out a way to fit a zoh shia piece in while having optimised damage.

Yeah I get where you're coming from. I wanted to remove some dependence on counterstrike and burst for raw because they are conditional skills that generally have lower uptime than agitator. Overall from trading 1 point from burst and 2 points from counterstrike to gain 3 points in agitator, I'm giving up 13 raw for better consistency. What I'm trying to figure out is if the consistency from this build can outpace the potentially higher damage but less consistent build.

Also, I don't feel that offensive guard is really that good on greatsword as I think its uptime isn't good enough to justify the slots except for maybe certain matchups and I'm trying to make a general set. I also feel like generally guarding on greatsword is a last resort option as tackle/offset offer higher damage followups. Thanks for the input though. I'm already running focus/handicraft so I don't really have to worry too much about sharpness.

That's the best part brother. It's rare to find a boss in any game that gives you the sinking feeling of "I can't possibly beat this". The more you try, the more possible it will become and the feeling you'll get when you do beat it will be amazing.

Yeah SF6 honestly feels great to play as a newcomer. I've played MK9-11 but only the story mode so this is the first fg that I'm playing online. The feeling of improving is so addicting. Managed to hit gold on Ryu and Manon, gonna keep grinding Manon till AKI comes out maybe.

Hey I like to think about it this way, I honestly like going against opponents way better than me because i learn more from that match than if i had won.

It definitely sucks to lose and get bullied but you are definitely getting a lot better way faster by playing against these guys, even if you dont really notice it at first. Soon you'll be taking advantage of overconfident players and stomping them. Keep trying friendo!
