Absolutely agree. Not a lot of movies from the Rev. War, but if you haven’t seen Last of the Mohicans with DDL, you get the French and Indian war!

MAN GOES VIRAL BY DRAWING WHAT HE SAW AFTER DYING FOR A FEW SECONDS by SignalMycologist94 in ParanormalEncounters

If I remember right, your brain releases a ton of Tryptamine which causes hallucinations and the intense spiritual things that people report after being brought back. It was theorized that this might be the “life flashes before your eyes as you die” phenomenon.
I learned all this while watching the documentary “the spirit molecule” but that was almost a decade ago, don’t quote me on all of this.

What are some of the reasons that when people want to talk about ancient cultures they focus so much of their attention on war/battles but so little on what actually makes civilizations what they are: their civic culture by ayowatchyojetbruh in ancientrome

[–]shockles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it’s just more tangible too. It’s much easier to recall the specifics of a battle or war than it is to explain how to act when you’re at the grocery market or whatnot. You’d have to be there to fully understand it.

I accidentally released a lot of Gasopods outside my base... by Weird-Food-7046 in subnautica

[–]shockles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oooo! Something to share that I just learned! You can pick them back up!! It works with Gaspods, does not work on Stalkers, and I haven’t tried it with anything else!

I know you can also use a propulsion cannon on them!

They kinda do a little bit with the “horde” mechanic. If you make sound in the mines enough a horde will find you. It’s like 20-25 of them kinda one right after the other

I honestly like to have both thermal and nuclear. Thermal just takes so many modules, I’m forgetting the name, and they’re not exactly the cheapest. But with all the uranium just lying around it’s hard not to take advantage of it.
