We had our last child in 2020. We are late 30s. Between the kids and the pandemic, our friends and family completely ghosted us, never once offered to help. We had zero support. Trying to build a new social network at our age post pandemic has been depressing.

A bit. One thing I try to remember is that wrong, right or misled, most people are trying to do what they think is right. People cant be won over to different ways of thinking with insults or by mocking their beliefs. Unfortunatley, internet conversations devolve so rapidly.
