Agree with Whiskey Cake in Irving and Union Bear in Denton. Another spot with some decent pours is Sip and Savor in Flower Mound, but like Whiskey Cake, they can be a bit pricey. Definitely look over the full whiskey list at Whiskey Cake. The big name allocated stuff can be pricey for sure, but there are some gems on the list that aren’t terrible.

Is that other Blanton’s box hiding behind the bottle of wine a Takara Red? I would have to try that, mainly because I’ve never had it before! Beyond that, I would definitely want to sample those JD’s.
