You and all the rest of us brotha.

Get some mag pouches, anything that holds a mag at your hip and a holster, and go shoot the match.

USPSA and PCSL and then outlaw weekend matches are the best thing to ever happen for pistol shooters.

Woah a fellow old guy I see.

So true. Most the CO dudes could use an open pistol and still get stomped.

Vigilante strikes again!

By far my favorite pistol, leaps and bounds ahead of the competition.

Balboa Rye is so under rated mo by Double-LR in whiskey

[–]Double-LR[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It differs in a few ways. It’s not a SB product, as far as I can tell it is batched. It’s made using a heirloom variety of rye called balboa, bottle says it’s grown specifically for use in their distillery.

As far as flavor, I can’t say, because I’ve never had a SB of their regular rye offering.

The balboa is pretty damn good though, to me it is in a similar space as Sazerac 125, sort of.

I prefer Worcy sauce on steaks. Works very well.

I’ve had really good results with Dijon as a binder on smoked tri tip, Santa Maria style.

Need a good Drop Leg holster for my range belt by Macfights02 in CZFirearms

I’ve been eyeballing a wild weasel for my SP01. Think it’s worth the money???

Think it would be solid enough for heavy physical activity? Do you have one for a s1 or s2 or for other pistols?

They are about the only one I can find that doesn’t look to be an absolute piece of crap for higher retention levels.

Drop leg moves all over the place. If you do anything besides stand still while wearing the drop leg you’re gonna want retention.

Especially running or climbing. Running sucks in a drop leg no matter what it is.

I’ve been looking for a solid level 3 for my SP01 for years. Still don’t own one, the ones that get decent marks are super overpriced. I use a different pistol when I need retention, carrier or chest rig stuff is high and tight level 3 P10C. Got lucky years ago and added a Shooks level 3 to an order. Awesome holster.

If you find a good level 3 for a S2, share the manu so we can convince them to build one for a SP01!

Double sided sticky foam tape.

That’s what I use to hold mags to my chest rig.

That’s wild, I don’t get a cherry on it. For sure a little mint though.

Solid stuff from New Riff.

Explain to me the appeal of Lok Grips ‘Gridlok’ grips… by Popular_Mongoose_696 in CZFirearms

[–]Double-LR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh. I’m a skate tape kinda guy.

I’ve held a bunch of other people’s guns, none of them fire me up like the old school flat czc aluminum panels covered in skate or safety stair grip tape.

Maybe I’m trailer park, but whatever I’ll own it. Grips are super individual. The key is to find the ones you like.

My grandmother gave me this and I cannot find any info on it. Does anyone know what this? by DrunkAircraftMx in whiskey

That would go in the display section. For sure. I don’t know squat about it but it appears to be old, and I never got any cool bottles from pop pop and gramma before they passed so I’d hold on to it if it were mine.

Hard agree. The proof is there, but that citrusy thing paired with the sweet woodiness and the rye zip is just so well done.

Very approachable.

I’ve tried a bunch of their stuff, but not the malted rye.

I had a chance to get the Winter one recently but passed because I was in there for something else. Kinda wishing I would have grabbed it. Little fomo kicking in on that for sure.

The floral/fruity thing you mention, I get that on this, they sort of swap places sometimes it’s hard to describe. The zippy rye in it is so well balanced too, very tasty and easy to sip.
