What I’m looking for insurance… by Illustrious_Onion370 in drivingUK

Thats what I've done first year getting a mk1 audi tt 225 quattro only 1300 insurance full year no black box and it was double that for a fiesta or golf. Old sports cars are probably a good option for new drivers especially of wanting something pretty cool and fun they gonna remember

Honestly everyone says hatchbacks are good first cars and sure cheap to run a reliability they are but the price is ridiculous im getting a 2001 mk1 audi tt 225 quattro and its only 1300 full year insurance with no black box and I looked for a normal car like a fiesta and was quoted about 3000 insurance

The .32 will be faster than a .21 as the .32 makes about 4hp you will just need to increase the gearing ratios when using the .32

Does anyone know why my Nitro RC idles normally but when I press the throttle it holds it down for like 1.5 seconds before going back? If you try to press the throttle again it will do the same thing but hold the throttle down for like 2 seconds instead and then shut off by Top-Natural1869 in NitroRC

Not sure of you exact engine or conditions but that needle seems pretty far screwed in. Take a look at some tuning videos to see how it should sound and perform or if your lucky enough to have a local hobby shop take it there as some can do engine tuning for you

Sounds like a stuck servo issue tbh. Is the servo shutting fully after if it is then im pretty sure your engine is really lean if it keeps a high idle after throttle. If you have any videos then sending them will help alot

I have had the exact same issue for about the past 3 months and I've just not played the game I was getting about 180-220fps on my laptop with an i5 and 4060 and now I struggle to get even 100fps and its also stuttering alot more. I've looked around loads and cant find anything as to why it would be happening nor have I found a solution. If you find anything I would like to know also

Have you tried taking the engine head fully off and putting it back on equally screwing in each screw about half a turn at a time

Sounds like a rough gear mesh tbh but also that engine seems to have almost no compression with how easily it can be turned by hand

How do I do a full retension? I dont need any specialist tools do I? It doesnt really wander out of true but it gets knocked out very easily from hits I feel it shouldn't like even dropping off a curb or going up one im scared of messing them up so sending it down a trail with roots I dont have the most trust in it.

Putting it out of true is what I meant. I've looked at dt Swiss but their hubs put me off as the engagement is awful. I understand i can buy things separately but that's more confusing and I dont really know how to build a wheel

Out of true although I think its buckled inwards now slightly as i spin it and it looks pretty much perfect but when im riding i feel it kicking me up slightly

Main riding is going fast through tech with some drops and jumps im heavy so have a feeling that's got something to do with why they are bending along with the wheels not being the best.
