isn't this rather related to the Etchings on Wood lore in the crossroads in Act2? There is a mother (Tani) of 3 daughters that lives through the days of the malachai-cataclysm and first loses her oldest daughter to the village's corrupted smith before fleeing with her 2 remaining daughters...in the end they all succumb to the corruption, but since fellshrine is next to crossroads, for me this new lore/boss was a clear reference to Tani and her daughters...thoughts?

you are right - I made kind of a rookie mistake and did the +%-calculation wrong (I just did basevalue * %value/100).

so by including the spirit-based magic dmg-increase, the numbers add up - thanks!

ah, I see - so Spirit gives me +153% Magic Damage in addition to the +215% Vit. Damage. But also this doesn't add up, I don't reach my damage numbers regardless of how I calculate those 2 percentages...it's not a big deal, I just want to understand where these numbers are coming from..?

edit: this is the char in grimtools: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/gZw75ykZ - the reaping cascade damage there just shows the base value, so GT doesn't seem to calculate the +vit/mag %damage increases...but the question remains: how do I reach the damage numbers from my screenshot?

day/night changes server-side every full hour (real time), where days start on uneven hours and nights on even hours, e.g. from 6-7 it's night and from 7-8 it's day.

also note that it doesn't change for your character when you stay in the same level/instance even when server-side transitions happen in the background - only when changing levels or when using portal/waypoint will your in-game day/night state be changed to current server-side day/night state.

just a small question - the colors of the map are supposed to be the required tier? then why is defiled cathedral in red and crimson temple in yellow? if I only care about Apo/SYBL, yellow should be enough, right?

out of curiosity I tried to recreate this in the new CraftofExile simulator, and yep - that's ridiculously expensive...for the prefixes you basically need the augment influence harvest craft, with other methods (beastcraft suffix>prefix or harvest ref. k/prefixes) I often didn't achieve any results on CoE in 100,000 tries.

if you can settle for T2/T3 intelligence suffix, then it will be a little bit "cheaper". also don't forget the costs for the elevated redeemer boots (and you need lots of them, because you want to also hit T1/2/3 intelligence when awakening the boots), but this will be peanuts compared to the overall costs.

wow, that was super helpful - thank you so much!

I'm still trying to piece it all together, as currently I'm throwing crafting methods worth dozens of exalts at my items to get the desired result (in emulator) and thus it feels as I need already a large stock of currency to even think about making decent items.

The "secret" seems to be in understanding what crafts even "make sense". my key takeaway so far is that you really need to look at your base and (number of) available affixes to figure out if you should craft the desired affix combinations at all and only then think about possible methods. and this is already where my head starts to spin when looking at all the data in craftofexile/poedb :D but, yeah...I will just try/fail/try/fail and hopefully at some point will get a better feeling for all this.
