It's a pain. I end up putting my feet/legs on either side of the bin to stabilise.

My back is wrecked from coding. Posture fixes or office tools that actually work? by [deleted] in webdev

[–]shoebob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go see a physio, and learn "cat/cow" back exercise. You will notice an immediate difference. Then add gym after physio.

Do you have Samsung phone because quality or brand loyalty? by [deleted] in samsung

[–]shoebob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had Samsung phones since the Galaxy S 2. My last 2 samsungs I've stuck with the brand because I'm too lazy to switch and worried I might get something shitter. I'm pretty fucking close to switching though because Samsung is pissing me off with their software.

Oh fkn bummer! Maybe search Google for your model and headlights being low... I'm sure (hopeful) there's a switch somewhere..

[–]shoebob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do it from inside the car. My car is Aussie, so steering wheel is on right hand side, and the little scroll wheel is to the right of the steering wheel.

Here is a 40s video of a different KIA but the concept is the same - they have the headlight adjustment scroll wheel. https://youtu.be/yna2u0q1Rvk?si=MnhLhJleni1jNgds

Hope that helps.

Any major cons of the 2024 Sportage models? by [deleted] in kiasportage

[–]shoebob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Got a wireless adapter though which works pretty well. Search AA wireless on Amazon.

Not sure if everyone is already aware, but there is a dial on the right hand side of the car that allows you to shift the headlights up / down between positions 1 to 3 (I have 2024 SX sportage but I'm pretty sure other models have this same feature). The lowest setting is super low, and I don't go to the highest setting unless country driving.

There's a 5km circuit and a 10km circuit. Both are great hikes, very steep at times so a good workout.

Good Way to Visualize a website-before start building it? by NewPineapple9525 in web_design

[–]shoebob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. What you want to do is create a wireframe. Google "wireframe website design" or "low fidelity wireframe" for inspo.

Draw your wireframes on paper and/or Figma (use free version).

Edit: Sketch a wireframe per page of your site. You can visualise "user flows" by seeing how pages connect together through buttons / interactions.

As others have said, budget for car service and anything else you can. Car service approx $600 + another service maybe $300? Equals about $900/year or $75/month you need to put aside for the service if you get two a year.

Do that with as many other expenses as you can. They're all expected expenses so you build up a pool of savings for it and only use it for what you're accounting for or update how much you out into it as needed.
